Identity verification
Before someone can deliver, their identity is verified. Verification is part of onboarding — a delivery partner must pass it to be activated.
Identity verification, background screening, proof of delivery and how we protect data.
Cariverr handles identity documents, background-screening data and delivery records. This page explains, at a high level and without disclosing anything that would weaken our security, how we approach trust on the platform.
Before someone can deliver, their identity is verified. Verification is part of onboarding — a delivery partner must pass it to be activated.
Delivery partners complete background screening. Where screening involves a consumer reporting agency, it is conducted in line with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including the disclosures and authorisation that law requires.
Delivery completion is evidenced — photo and timestamp where the job calls for it — so there is a record of what was delivered and when.
Identity, screening and delivery data are stored in our systems with access limited to the people and services that need it. Data at rest is encrypted.
Internal access to sensitive surfaces is authenticated and scoped. Credentials are held centrally and audited rather than scattered across machines.
A delivery that is not matched or not moving shows as such. We do not present a delivery as complete when it is not.
If you believe you have found a security issue in a Cariverr service, we want to hear about it. Report it to security@cariverr.com. A machine-readable security.txt is published at /.well-known/security.txt.
We do not assert certifications or attestations we have not obtained, and we do not publish security marketing that overstates our posture. If a control is in progress, we say so rather than implying it is finished.
Vendor security questionnaires can be sent to security@cariverr.com.
