New York & New York City
New York City — minimum-pay standard
New York City is supported. Cariverr meets NYC's app-based delivery minimum-pay standard under Local Law 115: delivery partners are guaranteed a minimum floor, and Cariverr tops up any shortfall. Partners remain independent, self-employed businesses.
Pennsylvania
Delivery is live in Pennsylvania, with pickup and dropoff accepted. Pennsylvania uses an ABC-type test for unemployment and a multi-factor control test for workers' compensation; our operating posture is contractor-based, and this is reviewed with counsel.
New Jersey — stated plainly
Cariverr does not currently accept delivery orders with a New Jersey pickup or dropoff point.
This is a deliberate, current operating boundary — not a service outage. If a request involves a New Jersey pickup or dropoff, we do not accept it. We publish this because it is better for partners, insurers and counsel to have the boundary in writing than to infer it.
